Seth Braun was just a week away from going to print and was unhappy with the design direction of his book. He reached out to us looking for design support.
Our first step was to get down to the core of what Seth and his book were about. We brainstormed some of the copy for the cover and ideas for the look and feel. As we dug in deeper, it wasn't long before we hit on something intriguing and inspiring. Luckily for all involved, Seth's print date expanded and we had the room to get even more playful and creative. The result is a stand-out business book that catches your eye, and let's you know that this author may indeed have something valuable and insightful to say. I’m a best-selling author, coach and creative. My first book, Healthy, Fast and Cheap was a breeze, and sold 30,00 copies. Not my second book! It was a difficult journey to say the least. The design for the cover was going one direction. Down. Nicole immediately went to work on correcting the situation for me and provided several concepts in the first 48 hours that were beyond the months I had spent with the publisher. I fell in love with the final cover. It is sophisticated. And so is Nicole. I like working with someone that can gracefully kick back ideas that lack substance.
